Recycling Fabric: Cardigan Cat!

Recycling Fabric: Cardigan Cat!

School started two days ago. Time for reading and writing academic stuff. But on Sunday, I still had time to do a creative project: my favorite cardigan was falling apart around the elbows, and I wanted to give it a new purpose. So, I took up my sewing supplies and turned the cardigan into a plush cat! Additionally, I shredded several old clothes to use as stuffing. I didn’t use a sewing pattern and I am not the best seamstress. But I am happy with the way it turned out.

I will not have much time to do many explicitly “creative” projects during the school year. But I will still keep up a creative mindset. Today, I cooked up a tasty leftover-meal (baked fish with rice and mixed vegetables). And in the next few weeks, I may sew some more stuffed animals and use them as gifts for “Operation Christmas Child”. And I will be preaching two times, both times with creative elements. Overall, I will be creative in everything I do, be it studying, cooking, a conversation with someone, or other things.
