I will start school this coming week. It’s already my 3rd year at seminary. Time flies!

That means learning for school. Less time for art. But I will try to continue with the anatomy courses and teach a handful of workshops. I also am starting to write a new children’s story!
It’s inspired by watching kids (and adults) when things don’t turn out the way they expect. I don’t know exactly what the plot will be. But so far it’s about a boy who wants to cheer up his flu-sick friend. He has all these ideas of what he will do for him, what kind of games they could play, how he could make his favorite ice cream for him, etc. But then, his plans get messed up, and he has to respond to that… Maybe the friend doesn’t like ice cream, or the friend gets well too early, or the boy gets sick? I don’t know. It’s just the rough idea. A starting point.

Just like the new school year… I’m curious what happens next! :)
