I will be doing an internship in Seattle, starting in February 2020. As part of the prep, I want to declutter and get my dorm room ready to rent out. But as an artist, I hate to throw material away. The solution: Make as many projects as possible between now and then! Today’s project: a big fish scupture out of old bike tires. I made it for the garden, to “swim” over the flowers. All it needs now is a stand. I have the material to make it, but no metal cutting saw at hand. When I get the proper saw, I’ll be able to finish this project. But even now, I am happy to be the owner of a big fish. It kind of reminds me of Dory from “Finding Nemo”. What do you think?
