Caricatures at a Kid’s Festival!

Caricatures at a Kid’s Festival!

Once a year, the local village has a big kid’s festival for charity. They have all sorts of things for kids ages 3-12, like jumping castles, a “teddy bear clinic”, karaoke, and so on. But this year, they also had me drawing caricatures!

I was there with the local church group, who were in charge of the can throwing game. We were there from 1.00 PM to 6.30PM. And we expected some people to sit for the drawings, but we didn’t expect the rush that came: In those hours, I was drawing the entire time, minus a 5-minute lunch break! In total, I must have drawn 25-30 people. It was great practice, lots of fun, and mostly with good results.
